Hello and welcome,
I am deeply passionate about creating a safe, empathetic space for people when they are at their most vulnerable. I acknowledge and celebrate the immense courage it takes to seek help through counselling, and I approach my clients with warmth and genuine care. I believe that increased self-awareness is a powerful first step toward healing, and I am honoured to walk alongside my clients as they take control of their futures.
I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and a Diploma in Music. While I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities, I have specialized training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
I primarily work with individuals, excelling in supporting men who are new to therapy. My EMDR training allows me to support those processing trauma, while my passion for IFS enables meaningful exploration of the mind’s complexity through parts work.
Outside the therapy room, I am a husband, stepfather, and professional musician. My career in music has included extensive international touring and album recordings, offering me unique insights into the challenges of high-pressure environments. These experiences, combined with my family life, help me bring depth, empathy, and practical life experience to my work as a therapist. Let’s collaborate to help you find healing and clarity on your journey.
